Dave C A great subject matter - the American penal system, with a lot to take from, and much to be explored. The series’ focus on a city with a high concentration of penitentiaries (based on the Canadian city of Kingston) exaggerates and compounds this. It delivers a lot of calculated violent action, game-playing, power-struggles, and the personal costs of living as parts of such a system. Overall, it is a good crime drama, though it does show itself as very repetitive at times Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Martin B Not wild about killing Chandler off so quick and completely baffled by the low ratings of the so called experts.Otherwise I find it unique and riveting. Yes it's bleak but so was the series OZ. It's got compelling actors and a scripts that are impossible to predict where they are going. Nice to see someone create something that uses virtually none of the established formula's to come up with something that begs to be binged.
